Fewest dropped calls

I'm new to at&t {again} and am not trying to talk smack, but I must ask: how did at&t find the stats of the "Fewest Dropped Calls"? Did they check every company's stats? And did they get the stats from all over the country, or just one side?

I'm asking him, he has been on the verizon forum for a year saying how he works for cingular and how their service sucks, and how much better verizon is blah blah, the guy jumped into just about every thread stating how much more fantastic verizon is, now he starts this tread 😕

Telephia, an independent third-party wireless tester, drive-tests 181 of the largest markets in the nation as well as hundreds of thousands of major roads and highways throughout the country (much the same as the carriers do their own drive-tests). They test each of the national carriers (The Big Four) and gather the statistics. By comparison, Cingular had the fewest dropped calls in the largest number of major markets AND the longest stretch of roads and highways in the U.S.

The Dropped Calls Claim could mean everything or nothing to your service, depending on where you live. The significance of their claim is that they were the first company to offer an independent third-party's information to back it up as opposed to privately owned in...
