AT&T has confirmed that the iPhone will be available in all 1,800 AT&T phone stores at 6 p.m. sharp on June 29, according to an interview with USA Today. "We fully expect one or more of our stores to run out of stock on the first or second day — my guess is the first day," says Larry Carter, senior vice president of sales for AT&T, the iPhone's exclusive U.S. distributor.


I read a week ago that there was an estimated 1.9 million people interested in getting the iphone. With only 1,800 AT&T locations, all I can say is good luck cor!

Maybe 50 for launch, but there should be about 200 for each location in the following few days.

I'm actually going to go with 150-200 for launch in higher volume stores and about 50-100 in lower volume stores.
