I think that was the limit on that phone, but it's been awhile. The phone had a 100 song software limitation regardless of card size though.

I use mp3 & WMA, so that's not important. One last question: Is the 100 sing limitation separate from the memory of the phone, or is it part of it?

It's part of the phone. I don't think it plays WMAs though, and I never heard of an alternate way to upload your music to it other than iTunes.
