Questionable 3G Call Quality ...??

I've had both the 6126 and the N75 ... and returned both because the quality of some of my calls were great, but a lot of other calls were almost un-intelligible.

I'm in a strong 3G area in North Texas and am thinking that 3G may be a player in my call quality issues. My 6230 and 6102 consistently provide excellent, garble-free call quality (neither of which are 3G), but the 6126 / N75 couldn't.

I'm looking for suggestions ... is 3G the issue? And if so what do I do about it? I want to upgrade but to what (with everything going 3G)? My 6230 and 6102 are going to quit someday.

Any input would be appreciated ...

Well just like when 2G(GSM) rolled out, there were system issues and bugs that needed to be ironed out, and I think the same thing is happening on 3G. Give it time and the system will be perfected. On the other hand I could be completely wrong...so who knows!?
