Free Trial Services

When I signed up with Cingular, I was automatically signed up for 2 free services on a trial basis--1 for 1 month, the other for 2 months.

I saw a posting on here somewhere where it was stated that Cingular would automatically remove those charges if you DON'T call in to say you want them.

When I called CS today, they said I HAD to call to cancel them, or they would be billed after the trial period.

Then she couldn't find the trial services at all and said they looked like they had been removed already (I had not called until today).

Advice? Who's right?

CS rep was right. However, if you push the agent enough, they should be able to put an expiration/future-dated cancellation date on the feature for you.

😕 as far as I know you have to have access to telligence or care to put an autoexpire soc on an account. Only corporate stores have access to that.

That's what I thought someone implied on here. But guess I'm OK as they have been taken off (what I wanted).
