V551 Bluetooth Resticted?

Is the V551 Motorola Restricted on its bluetooth capabilities like the Verizon Motorla V710? I keep trying to transfer my ringtones and pics from my 3600 Nokia and the motorola won't link up with it to recieve them but i can send them to a Erricson T616 easily?

Where did you get a 551 from? They shouldn't be out for Cingular yet since they aren't even available for order. Do you have the AT&T version?

No the learn and earn contest they began shipping the V551's early they will ship the second shipment on the 18th with the V3's me and my roomate both recieved our V551's

Bluetooth is a master-menu for close-range wireless connections. Profiles are like various "layers" of functionality. The primary profile for a handset is the "headset" profile.

I think you'd need the "hands-free" or "remote control" profile to accomplish dialing by voice command. It might be that your earlier phones (Nokia and SE) both support the "OBEX profile" (for object exchange), but not the new Moto?
