Thinking Of Switching From Nextel To Cingular
I really don't need a camera phone but I do like the V400 and the V551
Does anyone know if they are going to release a non camera version of either phone before the end of the year?
Also how much different are the rate plans going to be after Nov 15th?
Are nights and weekends starting at 7 still going to be something you have to pay extra for?
My phone will be for work and personal I am currently on a free incoming calls plan.
My average use of minutes is around 1000 to 1200 hundred a month with a lot of text messaging.
Hopefully someone here on the boards can answer my questions. 🙂 😳
2. plans probobly wont change a whole lot. probobly minor tweaks, except the 1000 minute plan is gone after the 15th
3. still will have to pay 7 bucks
4. i would suggest the 1250 rollover minutes for $79.99, and add either 750 txt msg for $10 or the merdia works for $20 (gives you 1500 txt msg.

Are you sure the plans are going to stay the same? We are told 19 new plans that are going to be a hybrid of AWS plans and Cingular plans. Maybe the 7-7-7 will be the AWS version which is 7 to 6 for free. Everything up untill we are told is just educated guess.
99% positive the Cingular plans will be virtually the same. The only thing that will change will be stuff internally in Cingular's systems. i dont know if there will be anything IN ADDITION TO the current cingular plans, like someone had mentioned before, called "common experience plans". but that would be kinda dumb to have 2 different nation plan "systems" in my opinion.
we already have better plans than other carriers across t...

They put on the current plans so you have something to see. I was told in training that there is 19 new plans comming out.

there are not 19 NEW plans coming out. just the codes internally will be changing. there happens to be 19 of them..lol..
im guessing the new codes will have the "second" IRDB built into them for any ENS capable phones.
