Probably because he has bad credit, as many other people, like myself, do. Let him be! I'm considering it too. The cor store that i went to told me that it would work.

Blackjack outright: Anywhere from $350 to $600. Contract: $75. I would pay the deposit and just get it back. It would be cheaper in the end, imagine the mass of data you would need on GoPhone.

The "Pick your plan" side of the GoPhones has unlimited data for $19.99. It'll work w/ a 3125. Blackjack, not sure. If I got one, I'd use it for talking, texting, MMS, IM, music, and appointments. Not to mention unlimited text for $19.99, for "Pick your Plan" users as well.
