Anyone else hate business customer care?
So I did an upgrade for a business customer today and the IVR wasn't going through(big surprise). So I called biz Customer Care and ask them to take the IVR off and the first lady either hung up on me cause she didnt wanna deal with me or accidently dropped the call. So I call back, and the lady would not take the IVR off. She said we will have to wait until the IVR is back up and running and couldnt tell me how long it could be. So thats BS, so I ask, so the customer has to wait just because you wont take off the IVR? She said Yes!! I cant freaking beleive how ****ty C.C. is for businesses. Its not just this time, but most of the time I call into business customer care I have problems with them. People complain about consumer custom...

Funny story. We can't override the IVR. Nice try. If you would like to tell us how to do it (since there is no option in there to do it anyway) I am sure that we would love to do it for you, but we can't override it. We can change contracts, but not accept the T&C.

There are ways around it, y not just renew the contract and if it has a fan, most likely the MSA covers ts and cs

Yes, we can do it without renewing, but that is not exactly legit. The MSA only covers the T&C if it is a CRU- if it is an IRU it does not. Saying that the MSA covers the IRU spon would mean that the sponsor is legally responsible for the IRU acct.

I called in last week for 2 business lines and they somehow removed the IVR. They didnt tell me how, but they did so I would be led to beleive it can be done again.

I hate them too. I had one guy get pissed back in the day because he didn't want to add an authorized user. He told the customers no for five minutes so I got on the phone with him. He tried arguing with me till I told him I am 100% positive that he can do it and needs to figure it out. He begrudgingly does it but then tells me its not his job and to call standard care from now on. 🙄

just to let you know
we no longer do ad authorized users, the one of the newer versions of the system we use no longer allows it (just happened a couple months ago)
