Reluctantly switching

Any of you Cingular folks have a recommendation for business rate plans? I am moving to a part of Washington state that does not have TMo coverage. I need to share about 2500 min between 5 phones. Any ideas? Thanks.

maybe I was not clear. I would like to switch to Cingular and need a recommendation on a business plan with Cingular, so that I can use Cingular wireless phone service. 😉

TMo,

Cingular's smallest buisness plan is $260. This the Nationwide GSM with 5000 minutes with rollover, UNLM2M, and 1000 N&W per line. That is for the primary, and each line added is $10, so you would be looking at $300 plus tax. If you sign a 2 yr. agreement, your activation is waived, plus you qualify for an 8% discount every month. I do a lot of biz pool plans in Dallas, so hit me up if you have any questions.

I am part of a chuch planting group, so $300 a month won't be in the budget right off the bat. Is there a family plan we could do that would be a bit cheaper?

Family Talk plans only allow 4 lines to share minutes... so one would be assed out... how many min do you need?

And TMo... i tell ya... I was a die hard Tmo fan and loyal customer until I switched to Cingular... Trust me, they won't let you down... The ONLY thing that I wish was more like TMo is how often minutes update with Cingular, that is the ONLY thing TMo has on us... they report mins back to the account quicker... Yes Cingular is a little more expensive, but overall coverage, data speeds, reliability, everything makes up for it...

You could split it up in to two family talk groups. If you want EXACTLY 2500 minutes to share you'd have to work out some funky groups, but otherwise you could put 3 phones on the 1250 $79.99 (plus 2 @ $9.99) and then 2 more lines at 850 $59.99 (one more at $9.99). that's only 2100 minutes, but they all have unlimited mobile and it would only cost about $169.95 per month.

depends... if that area is serviced by cingular with the 1900 band, you're cool... if it's 850, may not work... unless att has 1900 up there...

Bands. 6620 has the 850 band to work on Cingular. 6600 has 1900. Other than that, the same phone.

I noticed that, but it is on me for not being specific... I wasn't sure if one had more or less features than the other besides the USB connectivity.

it is only about 6 weeks old. No damage. Unlocked. I have some cool apps on it. Pac Man, MP3 player, etc. I would like to get enough to make getting a 6620 affordable. I won't be able to do it until the first of the year when I move and get the new account set up.
