What i Think

THE BOX

Jul 2, 2007, 11:44 PM
I believe that all u haters on here bitch , gripe ,slam and just talk shi* about att are just well jealous.I think whoever has the most customers will have to carry this burden but the bottom line is that We are the largest carrier in the US and frankly im damn proud to work for ATT. So take all your hate trash talking and put it into something positive ... Like improving your carrier......

BOX, You have never made a call on VZW..

Dude I worked for ATT for 7 years and guess what , every employee in the labs carried a VZW phone.. Know why ?

Because the ATT network and cingular network is weak as hell in NJ...

The GSM spectrum is horrible for Voice quality..

I am going to be building a voice quality test site end of this year.. And when I do you can hear how bad your ATT network really is.. Just listen to yourself.. The network Slips data all the time and thats why you guys hear that little GAC&^$ every few mins.. Thats the downside with GSM and always will be..

CDMA 2000 is the new standard - Ask the Europeans!! They know !

Personally, I think churn is more important. If you have a lot of customers with a lot of people leaving every quarter, it says something about either the network quality or the way the company operates. You have the highest number of customers, but you don't have the lowest churn.

But AT&T has cut their churn in half over the last 7 quarters. We may not be the lowest but substantial progress is being made. All this while not automatically extending contracts for new rate plans, feature changes and adding lines (extending agreement on main line just to add a second). These are all things Verizon does regularly that use negative forces to keep customers rather than positive forces.

Honestly its where you live that sways your opionion. I live in washington state and verizon sucks throughout the whole state pretty much, so does tmobile. I have and work for at&t and i have never had a dropped call, no wierd noises when im on the phone, no static or anything. My roomate has verizon and dropped calls ever day and a hell of alot of background noise and static the rest of the time. and its not his phone we have tried three diffrent ones. but i also know at&t sucks in some places and so does verizon. its all in where you live

you can brag all you want about how many customers you may have but keep in mind many of those customers are with their respective companies because of buyouts and mergers. to me i could care less who has the most customers but what matters is what will work best for you

Thats true....but no one will ever agree. Some providers work well where others do not. Overall, i here Sprint and Verizon are at the top quality-wise.....

I don't think so. I have both. My wife carries the ATT, when I talk to her, I have to ask her to speak up, because I can not understand her. When I talk to other known sprint/verizon customers I do not have this problem.
