Switching from Verizon to Cingular.........Maybe

I will be visiting and possibly moving to Long Island, New York.
Does anyone on this forum live in either Nassua or Suffolk counties ON LongIsland? For those who have never heard of that island, it lies east of Manhatten, New York. The area codes in those two counties are 631 and 516.
People have told there are towers there, I WANT hear from people who actually use Cingular wireless there.
I find it hard to beleive that there isn't anyone from there on this forum.
(Location wise Long Island is roughly 120 miles long and about 10 to 20 miles wide) I'm not interested in the N.Y. City part.
If you use Cingular in the area mentioned above I would really appreciate hearing from you.
Thank you in advance

Hi Cat,
I wanted to thank you for the information you provided me with.
I would like to hear from other people from that same area, if possible. I have been there(Long Island, N.Y.) with my Verizon service and it worked flawlessly.
But I'm interested in Cingular's sim carded phones, and more minutes per buck. As I said prior post, my 1 year contract w/Verizon is up 1/05.
Thanks again!
