Hello, I am located in market 35 in a very rural setting, low population and am looking for anyone in my market to give me some tips with regards to feature sales. I am afraid if we don't get our feature sales up we will be canned. Right now our best selling product has been prepaid, we do half as many prepaid as we do contracts and upgrades. If someone wishes to have this chat private that works for me as well.

I am not in market 35 but the best way i find to get my features up is to look at everyone who comes in account alot of people don't have a feature but are useing ppu. also alot of people who have features would be better on a different one i.e. old 3000 text 19.99 new unlimited text 19.99,old pda 39.99 no text new pda 39.99 w/1500 text.not only do you get a feature but the customer loves you and is likely to come back and see you.look at everyones bill even if its just an accessory also go back into the old customers from the store who got pdas and look at the bill alot of them are paying for text separate when you call to tell them 1500 text is now included and you can take off the extra they are paying you are a hero.I average $15-$18 per...

Thanks for the tips, I can use all the help I can get with this learning curve. I just can't see myself putting features on someones account when they say no. I feel that some other locations close by are slamming features on people. I just get some much negative from most of my customers with regards to features. We are just in a small town and not many young people have Post Paid service. The middle age people we have do have contracts but are of a mind set that a cell phone is for talk and thats it.
