It finally happened, a customer wanted a deal on an Iphone b/c he has been such a loyal customer. I explained the b/c it was an Apple product, and therefore they made the rules, we could not lower the price.

His response? "I guess you don't care about your customer!!"

Can you see his side at all?? You have to admit this is the first phone at&t has sold in this manner. It takes people a long time to understand why this phone is different. I find it rather odd that if you purchase the phone from an at&t store and want to return it you have to return it to an Apple store. ie: When someone buys a Nokia they don't have to return it to Nokia. I am sure you will be getting alot more people complaining about how returns, discounts ... are handled at at&t. It does feel a little like they are 'passing the buck'.

they are told upfront all the terms and conditions...... plus, if you dont like it, no one is forcing you to buy it

plus, if bought from an AT&T store, it can be returned there, within limits........

What do you mean by "within limits? I was told by two different stores returns and exchanges are only through Apple stores. Is this incorrect? I love my iphone and would not return it but would like some clarification on the return policy if anyone knows. 😁

As we do not sell the phone I cannot tell you the policy BUT I would wager about anything to say it can be retured to where you bought it.

What about all the cities without apple stores?
