quick question.
I work for Verizon Customer Sevice and I have looked everywhere for the answer to this....my best friend has Cingular and is sending me text messages from his RAZR but I am receiving them as picture messages, which I know are what? .25/message? So I'm trying to figure out how to advise him to send them as texts....he says his phone is randomly sending them as picture messages... help =/

Its all in how he is starting the message. If he accesses the messaging from the menu he should be able to select new text message rather than MMS. If he adds a plan to his account there is no extra fees for MMS.

In other words, to ATT a message is a message, text and MMS are all in the same message bucket.

Have your friend delete some of his saved messages. If his phone memory is thin the device defaults to MMS even if you compose as SMS.
