replaced iPhone for free?

apperently this guy's iPhone was charging when he picked it up, and it went flying... broke the front screen and they replaced it for free

It doesn't look like the LCD itself was damaged. You can see underneath the cracked glass, the phone looks fine.

i think the people at the apple store felt a little bad the guy. he did spend at least $500 on the phone and he must have went there in tears 🙄
