no commitment price is $599.99 so $540 is a deal...but you have to make sure it is a cingular phone or a copatible phone and that it is unlocked otherwise you have a $540 paper weight. in my experience unlocked phones have been problematic. unlocked phones are like programmed directv cards...its cool for a while but then you have to start constantly reprogram the card and suddenly the novelty has lost its appeal.
