quick question?

thinkin about letting one of my lines go. How much is the 2 year contract and is it prorated?

the ETFs(early termination fees) depend on how far into the contract you are. they usually start at $240 for the first month, but they go down about $10 per month...so if you're 6 months into contract, it'd be $180 charged to your bill. The final bill is not prorated, you are resposible for the full month's charges, we can set it for a future date term on the day before the cycle date so you can make the most of the last month.

$10 a month for 2 yr contracts and $20 a month for 1 year contracts. or if u are texas west its $150 flat.

Yes, thats exactly what i planned to do contract up in jan...I have 5 lines with cingular...on 3 different plans wanted to consolidate into 2 plans by cancelling one and adding another for the 9.99. but on another thought could i move the one line by itself over to a family talk plan and keep the number??

that's kind of cool. If his one plan is big enough he might as well just put it on the 9.99 add a line. It will cost the same but he will be able to use the line.
