Date for that was Oct 25, 2004. AWS customers can port over to Cingular without and ETF since Oct 25, 2004. Nov 15, 2004 AWS CSR's can migrate customers over to Cingular and so they don't have to pay the activation fee just the upgrade fee. Blue network/customers is AWS legacy and Orange is Cingular.

We have existing free phones at Cingular and that will NOT change, EVER! We no that there are certain demographics that will not pay money for a phone. They believe that a phone, regardless of the cost, should be able to do simple things like make and receive calls and so forth. We owe it to the individuality of the consumer to continue with that spirit of choice. That is one thing that we have over Verizon. We give our customers so many choices that they need to be informed of the differences to make sure that the have what the both want and need.

AWS customers, if migrating to a CSE plan, WILL have their ETF waived.

Same as the current AWS plans. They'll be available for Blues that don't want to migrat...
