New Phone Recommendations

Good Evening everyone. I have combed through the forum looking for insight on which phone to buy. I'm replacing my Moto razr (not a 3xx). The display cover is coming off (my V60 did the same thing) and the phone shuts off by itself on occasion.

I'm looking for a phone with comparable if not better features as well as improved reception.

One interesting point to note. I've started dropping calls in an area that I did not drop prior to the merger. However, it was the same spot when I had ATT years ago.

Any suggestion is appreciated. If there is something coming out new soon that would be worth the wait, that would be fine too. No Iphone. I have an IPOD. Thanks again

Nokia 6126 if you wanna stay on the flip phone side, V3XX if you wanna stay with Moto and have 3G (if its in your area), SE W810 if you can find it is a superb phone. Some stores probably still have some in the stock room.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am somewhat weary of the Moto v3xx since I have had recent problems with my current Razr. This phone is my primary office number and I use it heavily; 3000 plus minutes a month. In you suggestion, would one be more durable or reliable than the other?

the sony ericsson w810 is a great and very durable phone. Its been dropped thrown, and it still works, without a scratch on it. it was one of the best phones I've ever owned, and sony ericsson is know for making a great solid phone. It also has great reception. I was just at my local cingular store last week and they still had it in stock for 170$ with a 2yr contract.

It seems fairly durable, the V3XX, but the w810 is the better phone. Great reception and superb battery life. Samll phone and very pocket friendly.

I second that. I've never been a fan of Motorola's phones and from experience; i know sonys are great phones.
