No More LG Phones on AT&T?

Today, I saw that there are no LG phones on the att.com website, personal or business. Even the 3G phones (CU400 and CU500v) are gone. Could this be the end of LG phones for AT&T? Has AT&T dropped LG like a bad habit? Will Bob get the promotion? Tune in to find out the answers to these questions and more.

No, really. What's up with the LG phones disappearing?

The CG225 is gone, CG300 was gone then back and now gone due to them having some in stock, CU400 is just so damn back ordered it's getting silly, and the CU500v is getting the boot due to the Trax aka CU575.

The LG TRAX was just recalled due to some software problems with the music downloads. Also, there is a new LG E110 coming out in Aug.

Why? My kids have the sync's, they seem pretty damned good for the money, people bought the CU400's another good option for the money? I mean, Nokia makes some great phones, I myself have an N75. But Nokia ain't the only game in town.

But, I do agree, I wish they would include more high end Nokia's and SE's in their lineup. I'm not sure if its at&t's fault, or both Nokia and SE not willing to port over to the 850/1900 umts/hsdpa. Both Samsung and LG are willing to do this. And I don't want to hear crap about why doesn't the US have 2100 umts, its an FCC thing about this frequency being used by the military way before umts, gsm was introduced. Maybe (although I'm doubtful) this may change in the future.

Nokia for all their benifi...

The reason I don't like the lg's or samsungs isn't because of their feature set, in fact, the new trax is pretty killer and both manufacturers tend to make durable reliable phones. BUT, I can't tell you how sick I am of hearing complaints about below average call quality on the sync and cu400. Garbled calls, static, dropped calls. It is just getting flat out ridiculous. How many times to I get those complaints with SE or Nokia? Hardly ever.

and in the meantime there's nothing? It's not good to pull your current models before you have something to replace them with.
