Note To Dealers and Agents
Having a prepaid account does NOT help the customer when to get a postpaid account. I get numerous calls from customers stating that they were told when they activated their prepaid account (because they had a $500 deposit) that if they kept their account for six months or more, it will help them get a postpaid account and even get the deposit waived. The deposit is determined entirely by the credit check. Having a prepaid account does not affect their credit at all. Please stop telling customers this.

I dont know about others but that is the info i got from my area manager. not that they would get out of a $500 deposit but that it would be lowered and i have done it you go into the account and upgrade form pre to post. it counts as an upgrade.

Correction....
Pre-paid to post paid counts as a new activation!! Same goes the other way.
IF you are being comped for the subscribers as an up, your agent principal is screwing you.
