Outside of my minutes plan, in order to fully use this item for email, web, etc. what do I need to add? Media Net Unlimited for $19.99/month?

Is the price after rebate? Either way its still a good deal. The correct package if you want to use xpress mail is pda connect for 39.99 which qualifies you for the rebate plus gives you xpress mail and 1500 txt a month and unlimited data.

Blackjacks are classified by ATT as PDA's, and as such, if you want to use data, require the PDA Connect at 39.99 which includes 1500 messages, or PDA Max at 49.99 which includes unlimited messaging. Standard Media Net or Media Max packages are not authorized for use with Blackjacks.

By the way, I use this phone, and I love it. Good signal strength, great music player, great data device, great information manager. Battery life sucks, but the larger, additional battery is a bonus.
