I have a customer that went to equador and used her phone racking up $80 in roaming charges, and she is on the phone $^#&$ing out customer service saying that she didn't make the calls, threatening to press charges. Customers think they can get away with anything sometimes. 😁

Sorry Customer care, but didn't want to put up with that.... 😉

You're probably right....she probably did make those calls. And cursing at customer service is never a way to deal with anyone. BUT..isn't there a chance that she could be right? I mean come on, we've all had strange things show up on utility bills or credit card bills that were mistakes. Maybe she's telling the truth.

Possibly, but an extremely high % of customers who roam/have overage/download apps, get their bill, dont want pay it, so they call up or come in bitching because they "didnt" do it

Nope, false phone calls don't just pop up on bills. They're timestamped, dated, and pinpointed from the location. There is always a chance that the fraud department can investigate, but if you gamble and lose, there are additional consequences. You may be asked to leave your carrier or pay additional assessment fees. Definately not a path you want take head on.

Well, like I said above, I'm sure she probably was trying to pull a fast one. But I also know that mistakes on bills CAN happen. Nobody's system is 100% accurate 100% of the time. If I had incorrect charges on my bill, I would fight them.
