JUST FLASHED V400 TO V400P

I just flashed my v400 to v400p, and wow.. It was great at first then I noticed some flaws. Not bad enough flaws where I am going back to v400.

1. the speakerphone can connect before the call connects, which is good BUT depends what feature you have on. If you have speaker phone option enabled it will connect and be just fine, but if you don't want to make a speakerphone call, as soon as it connects speaker phone comes on. If you turn this feature off, then use speaker phone to connect to a call as soon as the call connects, it goes to regular speaker.

2. get a weird txt message ever so ofter, probably not due to the flash though.

Other than that the phone works great, speaker phone is louder, the camera seems clearer compared to my other v400 when used to be the same, 2 new games stuntman, and monopoly, tons of ringtones, new color scheme, backgrounds, screensavers, etc. All around I am happy with it, will look for a fix though for the speaker phone. If anyone knows something let me know. can't wait til cingular releases PTT.

Kip, my girlfriend has the v400, and I've messed around with it a little bit. I've never owned a motorla phone, but when navigating the menus, it seems just kinda slow to react--a bit sluggish. Is there any way to speed up the menu navigation? Is this characteristic of most Motorlas?

depends on what version v400 on your phone dial *#9999#send, you will see software version should be 0B.09.2ER OR Later. If it is your menu should be fine and as fast as it will go. There are data cables, and phone tools to enhance your speakers, and menu's but i'm not sure what settings you will have to search some forums for v400 tweaks.

That was my question before. As new software come out, can I flash the phone myself if I have data cables or bluetooth? Do I need a specific software to do so? Where do I get the new version from?
