The most notable difference is that we don't have 8K sims. There are, however, quite a few topics on 64K sims if you do a search.

The old 8K sims were sold in the Carolinas when that was the only area that had GSM (for Cingular)... no support for 850 markets, and very few areas will the 8k sim work...
