About the name change, I have to admit.....
at&t sounds way cooler sounding than Cingular.
Oh yeah and I need to point out at&t is way cooler looking with those all lowercase letters than the all uppercase that it used to be.

I like the "death star" logo much better than the old Cingular stick man.
"Cingular" sounded too much like "Singulair", too.

I was recently at a at&t meeting, and we were talking about how much we loved to cingular name and how we named the little jack thing, that we found out someone made a website apparently that said "jacklives.com" but cingular bought the rights and shut it down when at&t was coming in. lol i dont know if its true but that sure made me chuckle 🙂

I didn't even know he had the name Jack until I started working for Cingular/AT&T. Thats kind of sad if they shut down a website like that, wouldn't it have been free publicity in a way? 😳

I'm not sure really, i guess they are just trying to completly get rid of the cingular name and all, completly wipe it all out. Since its their name. I dont know what the website consist of so who knows really

Just an FYI...the AT&T brand name is the most recognized in the world. It was a smarter choice to go with the name AT&T which has been around for over 120 years. Cingular was around for less than 10.

I still think att reminds me too much of ATT and its anti Midas touch with its reputation of the worst customer service of any carrier. Its an old company with old ideas and old managemet. Cingular was a better brand.
