Greetings...on my T637 and Cingular service
I recently returned from a drive from Branson Mo to Las VEgas on I44/I40 and I must say I had GREAT reception all the way..kudos Cingular!
I also had the experience of jumping into a pond with my T637 strapped on....Yikes.. As can be imagined it would not work at all the next morning there was water behind the screen and dripping from the phone. I was about to run to Cingular to buy another when I decided to blow dry the phone. I set the phone down in front of a blow dryer for nearly an hour, until all water was gone from the LCD....Still did not come on. So I hooked up the battery charger and what do you know the phone lit up and charged fully...Been using it without a glitch ever since.......
Amazing phone. I did buy another though ...

Will they have the same model in 2 years? And why would cancelling you insurance assure that?
...
The way they drop models, I figure having another T637 will allow me to use the same model for the next couple years. I do not need insurance because I already have a replacement.
...
not a bad idea....I just recieved an e-mail stating that the t637 and v400 have reached the end of their life cycle and will no longer be available for us to order. The shipment we've got coming in (with my t637 in it 👿 ) will be the last order we'll recieve at my store.
...
But I thought the T637 was a new phone just out this summer?
...
I guess you could still buy one online, or on eBay or something?
...
Yeah had has the t637 reached it's lifecycle? It just came out early this summer.
...
I know, that amazes me!
...
I know I love my t637, if that is indeed the case I'm going to go pick another one up.
...
Good luck! Hope you can get one.
...
oh my store has a load of them and a bunch of other att phones
...
Well, you'll probably be able to get a good deal since I think the price has gone down. I guess that should have been a clue...when the price starts dropping! 🤣
...
Ohh, okay gotcha ie replacement = by way of ins.
