Pulling their hair out?
I just been cruising through some forums and found that people are getting a bit nerve wracked by all the different info that seems to be floating about in regards to the merger. Has anyone had any issues or confusing on Day 1?

Yes, I've had some that I don't understand! This is a confusing time for us employees, especially when we haven't been properly trained. There are many reps that have not gone to any training yet!

here's the thing... the company decided to move ahead with 'day one' today (11/15/04) without debugging the systems, so people trying to migrate weren't able to do it and awswas flooded by Cingular reps asking why mr or mrs blah blah couldn't be activated, and the IVR was dumping Cingular customers into AWS call centers as the Cingular centers either backed up or closed down for the day...You would have thought that the powers that be would have learned from the LNP debacle or the GSM roll out that you have to have the systems in place *before* you go live, but apparently learning from the past isn't part of the game plan...hopefully the next few days will be better...

We've been migrating ATT customers since Friday and the only problem we've run into is with the ATT business customers. Currently, we have to call the ATT "Tiger Team" to have them migrated over. All other customers have transferred over wonderfully.
