Force Sync to 2G
Does anybody remember the code for this? One of my employees wants to put his wife's phone on 2G so she'll stop whining.

I did that this morning, but it doesn't look like it actually locks it to 3G. I think it's only for the duration of that debug test because it still shows 3G afterwards. Thank you though. I'm gonna make my employee deal with it since it's his damn wife.

I think it locks it to EDGE until you power cycle the phone. We did speed tests with it when it was locked and it was operating at EDGE speeds until we restarted the phone, regardless of the 3G icon.

The user of the phone is not so tech-savvy that she would know how to reset it to 2g with every boot up. I think we're gonna put her in an lg 500 that we can permanently lock so he won't have to hear her complain to him every waking moment for the next two years.
