That is what I tried telling one of my customers, and here is why:

He didnt have/want Itunes, and had no idea how to download it, and couldnt be sure his computer could run it anyway

Had dial-up

Had no clue what an mp3 was

Flat out told me he had no intention of playing music, surfing the net, or anything else the iphone is designed for

Yet, he still wanted it... despite the return and restocking issues.......

I fear a major customer complaint coming......

So what was the reasoning for him wanting the phone? Or was he just wealthy with money to blow.

Heck I would of sold it to him just for the commission. Lol he probably wanted the 8gig one too.

Anyway I noticed in the iPhone form..the questions people ask..They should not own a iphone! I swear. Questions like
"how do I get the pictures off my iphone"
"how do I put music on my phone"
"does the iPhone have internet?"
"can you text message on the iphone?"

ect..ect..

what are these people doing with any cellular phone at all??!!

So i don't get why he would want to throw out half a grand for something he just wants to talk on; don't most people who just want a phone to talk on prefer..a free nokia or something?

its that extra letter that turns it into a status symbol, like an expensive pair of running shoes you wear all the time but never run in. 🙂

lol yea i know what your saying.
in a world that seems to be dominated by everything "i". I was on target's website this morning..and they even had bedding that said "iRock" with the famous ipod dancers on the ipod commercials printed all over the bedding. Just what i want to wake up to.
What really gets me; i dont know if you have seen it or not; but they have ipod shower radios. Who in their right mind would shower with there ipod?
But really it seems like there throwing a ipod dock on everything and anything. I was in office max, and they had lamps, pillows, computer monitors, chairs, body massager's..all with ipod docks.

😎 Sounds like your typical arrogant Gucci-fied customer. Reminds me of my first job, WalMart electronic department... this was maybe 4 years ago when flip phones JUST started to become popular and that old Nokia BRICK was going out of style. A lady came in, didn't even want cellular service, she just wanted a flip phone. She paid close to $500 retail for JUST the phone. I mean, seriously, did she want to look wealthy or hip pulling it out and PRETENDING to talk on it? This still bothers me in my sleep occasionally =P

She said to me "I just want a flip phone", so I took that as... I just want a flip phone, lol
