Help for potential Cingular customer

Hello all,

We are currently on a Verizon family plan. We are tired of Verizon. In our area the service is spotty and the rates are not as good as Cingular.

My problem is that the phone selection doesn't seem to be the best for Cingular. I am used to my Moto V60i which is near indestructable and very reliable. Looking at the choices at the Cingular site and comparing them against the reviews here, I am left wondering what to choose.

Some help please.

You need to be more specific other than "a durable phone"... What are you looking for? A flip, Bar? Camera, No camera? Abundance of features or Lack of?

Thanks,

I prefer flip. Don;t want a camera unless I have to.

I am not set on a Moto but have found them to be so well designed. My father has an Audiovox which has a very clumsy menu system and spongy buttons.

I wopuld be happy to go with any brand as long as it matches the V60 reputation. The Moto flips that Cingular is offeering don;t seem as robust.

I dunno... The Samsung's are pretty durable, And she did say a camera was not a necessity.

Unfortunately the V400 was a free phone 2 days ago, now it's $79 after rebate.

The replacement is the V220 which doesnt look that great.

They do havbe the V180 for $39 though. How does it stack up?

What about the LG and Samsungs?

The LG's get great reception..> But I will admit the feel delicate... The Samsung's loook very durable and feel nice... the v220 can shatter when it is traveling at the wall on a projected path... 😁
