Chicago eh? If you can't benefit from at&t mobile-to-mobile, you should go T-Mobile. That's what I would do if I were in the Chicago area.

I'm using both. At&t has 7pm nights & weekends, but T-Mobile has the Fave 5. I kinda favor T-Mobile because of the wi-fi calling from home, but at&t does have rollover minutes. It's hard for me to choose, which is why I have both.

Don't forget to tell him that nights starting at 7pm is an extra $8.99 per month as an optional feature.

My favs plans cost $10 a mth more than T-mobiles regular plans. Also, T-mobile does not give you free m2m except on family plans.

Really? I was getting free M2M on TMobile to other Tmobile users without paying a dime extra. You may want to check that.

You may want to check the current plans. None of the individual plans include free m2m. Even the my favs family plan doesn't include free m2m. What you may be seeing is on your phone bill it breaks down your minutes and shows how many m2m you used. That does not mean you are getting it for free. If you do not have the 6.99 add-on what shows on your bill as m2m is really being billed as part of your anytime minutes.

Coverage is similar for both in chicago when i went there. If you are going to be traveling outside of the area often then I would say at&t, if not, then go t-mo they are generally cheaper.

or our higher ups could think we are bigger and badder than anyone else in the USA and we could be forced to break it all up again just like we did 20 years ago!

you might as well go with T-Mobile. Get one of their plans that beat out at&t's and wait to be assimilated by at&t sometime in the next few years because at&t will be the only big gsm carrier left in the USA at the rate they are going.

Doesn't mean AT&T can't buy their USA markets. Just means T-mobile might become and overseas cellular provider exclusively. Plus my comment was meant more as a joke beings as how i work for Dobson and am in jeopardy of losing my job come the end of the year.

its like verizon buying vodafone out just isn't going to happen. Tmobile in terms of money has more than any us carrier!

I thought the rumor was vodafone was going to try and buy verizon? And why are you still arguing the point? If i have to say it geez, i concede. I make a comment, say its more a joke than serious, and you fight like a trapped rat. geez.

If the Fave 5 thing attracts you at all, it should, as each line on your family plan can have 5 different numbers, not to mention that T-mobile's texting for family plans is $20, which covers all of the lines for regular, picture, video, and instant messaging to anyone in the United States.

Unlimted texting for a family plan is $30 w/ Verizon and $15 for a family plan plus $7.50 per line. $20 total w/ T-Mobile isn't a bad deal.
