New North America Plans, and others???

anybody have any info on the new North America plans? (will they include M2M?, and will they be family plan compatible?)



and does anybody have any info on the other plans coming out?



and by what date should this all happen by??

Regional Plans: 39.99, 49.99, 59.99, 79.99
Included minutes vary by market. Check with Cingular.com, put in your zip code and check out the plans to find out how many minutes are included in your market. Rollover and M2M minutes are NOT available on Regional plans, but. 5000 n/w min for $39.99, unlimited n/w min for 49.99+

National Plans: 29.99-249.99 Minutes range from 250-6000. There are no bonus minutes added on top of the included minutes. 1000 n/w min for 29.99, 5000 for 39.99, unlimited n/w min for plans 49.99+. Rollover available on all plans 39.99+. Unlimited m2m available on plans 39.99+ Additional lines (family talk) are 19.99 for lines 2-4 on $39.99 and 49.99. Additional l...

The 7pm feature is NOT available on North America plans, but is on GSM Region plans.

Not having M2M on NA plans does make sense. You have to look at the clientle that uses this type of plans. I average about 100 phones a month and I have been with Cingular for a year now. Even though NA plans were launched this summer, I have only sold 2 on new activations, and they were both to "world travlers" that use their phone for buisness purposes. Both of these customers also had a personal Cingular line that included the M2M.

Besides buisness customers, consider the other market for this plan. I work in Texas, and there are a lot of Hispanic Americans who have family in Mexico, or travel their maybe once a year. Most of them opt for the ICA and International roaming features. Even though the NA plan is a great value, ...
