You know what gets me?
It usually gets to me when a customer wants me to look up something on their bill or wants me to do something to their account, when i ask them for their cell phone number...they are like "well i dont know, i dont call myself" im like, ARE YOU SERIOUS!? thats what i want to say. But mostly its like ok well do you know your account number than? lol

sounds like they don't call in much
if they're on a family plan, maybe you can let them know any of the numbers are fine? i'm sure they know a wife or kid's number (on the same account)

what gets me is the callers practice over and over what their going to say when they call in then get upset when u stop them from telling their story.

I know that sounds crazy, but I can honestly see how that happens to many people. My 73 yr old mother has a cell phone which she carries "just in case". I can promise you that she has no idea what her cell number is. Heck, I have very close friends who I call frequently and I probably couldn't tell you most of their numbers because I have them all in speed dial. 😕
