Things I like to hear more often
Since my last thread got over taken by people that didn't know that we do have some rough days in our profession, I have come to the conclusion that we need a thread that lets the customers who frequent our forums that we also appreciate those who treat us great. Today for instance I had a lady who came in two days ago for an air card. She needed a express card or USB card and we were out of both. She went to the mall store down the street and we thought all was lost. She returned but had got the express card at the mall. She couldn't get the card to work and when she went into the mall store the rep told her to call tech support. He then blew her off and went to another customer. She left and came to me. Upset that I had to do what I thought the COR rep should have done, I set up her card and got it working. She was so happy that she sent an email out to all of her Century21 agent friends that we took care of her when she needed it and to come to my store to get service, air cards, PDA's, etc. So far 3 calls and all of them ports who need PDA's AND aircards. The customer was so nice that she actually said that if I was interested that she would hire me to do the computer system at her Century 21 branch she runs. She made my day. See not all customers are bad.

That's awesome! 😁 You could have easily said, "Sorry, lady. You didn't buy it from me...it's not my problem". But because you took the time to go the extra mile with her, she made a point to not only thank you, but to tell her friends and colleagues. That's exactly how it should be. I always tell people when I've been treated well by a salesperson.

That's awesome man, way to go. So many people in this industry dont realize the power of word of mouth. A good experience for a customer can really give huge rewards to a store.
