Advice Phone -- Internet
I need some advice. The Cingular stores near me have free phones that are terrible. On Cingular.com they have three free phones either the Motorola V220, Samsung X427M and the LG C1300. I have heard never order over the Internet, but I need to get three phones for my family and all three of the above mentioned ones are free and pretty adequate phones.
Does anyone have any advice on which of these phones would be best. I am justing looking for reliability. Also any advice on using cingular.com. Thanks for the help.

Of the three phones you have listed, I would go with the V220. It has the camera (with poor resolution), and world capability. It has been my expirence that the LG has had reception issues. The X427 is a good phone...just no camers or external caller ID.
I always recommend to purchase a phone in store. It is best to walk in, have a live person set you up, and you walk out the door. God bless my Telsale reps, but the have the propencity to fowl things up. It is worth the extra money to buy them in store. And remember free isn't always a good thing. Like buying a car, you get what you pay for.
