I am an att customer that wants to stay on att as long as possible. My question is can I switch my phone network to cingular only and not get charged anything. I noticed that were I live the cingular signal seems stronger, but I love the 7pm night and weekends on att. Any imput would be appreciated.

I f you have a phone that you can do a network serch you can change it to manual and chose the network that your phone will look for first. Right now the phone is on manual and it will look for att first.

The thing is you are suppose to use attwireless towers 50% of the time, but now with cingular and att being the same i don't think they will notice if less then 50% is on attwireless towers. You will not pay extra to use Cingular network.

NO BUT IF YOU READ THE P&P YOU MUST BE ON THE ATT NETWORK FOR THE MAJORITY OF YOUR USAGE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SERVICE SO YEAH I CAN TELL YOU NOW THEY DO BOOT PEOPLE OFF THE SERVICE WITH ETF, BUT THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE OPTION TO MIGRATE FIRST THEN IF IGNORED THEY WILL CANCEL YOUR SERVICE AND FYI DO APLY SINCE ITS IN THE T&C AS WELL.
