Tired of VZW Phone Selection

I have been a loyal VZW (GTE) customer since 1997. I saw the new Motorola MPX displayed on this web site with a PDA and Qwerty keyboard in a reasonable form factor. I would love to get this phone, but once again it is only offered in GSM. I am seriously considering changing carriers. I have been happy with my VZW service and reception but want more from my phone. I use my phone for text messaging and calendar functions at work, I also use Get It Now daily.

Anyone have any reception experience with Cingular in the Huntsville, AL area?

While I fully support you considering a change in SPs... I've heard bad things about the price on the MPX. I think it looks awesome and I love the features, but the "rumors" I've heard on the price are extremely unreasonable. I don't think there's any offical word on a price for it yet, but it isn't supposed to be released in the states until first quarter next year anyway.

the MPx220 is out already . we sold one today at our store. i havent used it yet to know if it's worth the price, but the fact that Microsoft Streets and Trips 2005 is compatible with Smartphones is just one thing that makes it worth it to people who are on the road a lot.

They are reffering to the MPX not the mpx220.
Get aroused just looking at it. The MPX that is. 😳
