4gb vs. 8gb iphone, is $100 more worth 4 gigs of memory?

I'm torn on this. I am getting an iphone with the price cut but I don't know which one. I have a nano with 2gb right now so I wonder if getting a phone with 4gb is worth it. Chime in I'd appreciate it!

There is a lot more that you can do on an iPhone that you can't do on a 1st or 2nd generation Nano. If you put many videos or photos on your phone it will eat into your memory. I personally don't see much of a reason not to get the 8gb iPhone and perhaps Apple sees that too since most people seem to pass on the 4gb phone causing Apple to discontinue the phone. But if you don't see yourself putting many videos or photos and have a limited music collection then the 4gb may suffice. On my 8gb phone I have 121 songs, 25 videos (5 full length films), and 43 photos and have only 719mb free.

Whatever you do you need to hurry. The supply of 4 GB handsets is limited to stock on hand.

Personally I am waiting for the 16 GB touch anyways. The 8 GB vs. 16 GB is worth it to me.

Isn't the 16gb touch ipod already out? It's not the iPhone, but it's still got the wifi and the web browser.

I can't bring myself to give up my 80GB iPod Video for a 16GB touch screen one.

From what I understand the 8 GB touch is out first and then the 16 GB will be out a month or so after.

We are having a contest here in West Texas and we asked for the 16 GB versions as rewards :-)
