as most of you may have heard El Jobso is giving everyone with an Iphone a 100$ apple GC to make up for the price drop. Just one question
What if you have an iphone but are not on an att contract do you still get the rebate?

It goes for anyone who bought a phone, regarless of contract. I bought two on opening day from Apple 5th Ave.: waiting until next week to get the details on if I get $100 for each phone.

Its a $100 credit NOT a refund. Show me something you can buy in an Apple Store for $100...Maybe an Apple Mouse?

There are plenty of things that can be purchased with the credit that are less than $100. To name a few: iphone screen protector, case, extra charger, headset, itunes card . . .
It was a good move by Apple to offer the credit. Quit being so negative & see the good in it. I bet you are a glass is half empty kind of AvgJoe.

I will say again all the people that paid more when it first came out paid for having it first. Get over it. If don't like paying to have something first don't get it first!!

I was a business customer and they made me convert my line. I had to drop my corporate discount privileges and all. And as far as I know there were no rebates, credits or the like for anyone who purchased this phone for use on AT&T.
