Does anyone know when the corporate stores will be getting the Sony Ericsson 580i in stock or will it remain a online sale only? Also, which phone would you go with, v9 or 580i for att. Thanks.

580 should be in stores in probably 50-60 days. I haven' used the v9, but for the price the sony is a great deal.

Even though the W580i lacks a flashlight; I would still choose it anyday before the V9.

I had the W580i and returned it because the volume was not loud enough for me. It was a very nice phone but most of the time I had trouble hearing what people were saying. Loved the camera, video & that it is a slider. The v9 sounds like a decent phone but from the specs looks to be a little on the heavy side for a razr. Who wants another razr anyway?

I just don't get sony ericsson. They make the best phones but call volume is continually an issue. my w810, k790a, and w710i all were not loud enough in noisy environments as to where my Nokia booms in my ears.

I havent had that issue with mine (w600, w810, k790a) They all seemed to have the same volume.
I have the W610i coming in the mail... (crossing fingers) 👀

Finally someone agrees with me! I returned the w580 also due to low volume. When I was driving I had to hold the phone very tight against my ear just to hear what the other person was saying (what a pain-literally!)

I also thought the audio wasn't very good quality (during conversation). It had a 'cheap' sound to it. The 6131/6126 sounds MUCH better! I'm sure the v9 is much better in terms of build quality and sound quality during conversation. The w580 did get great reception though.
