50 cent fee for messages over 300kb?

Hi,

I was looking through the calling plan brochure and noticed in the fine print that with messaging packs messages that are over 300 kb are charged an additional 50 cents per message (footnote 1)... Is the actually something that is in effect, or just something stuck in the brochure that isn't actually charged? If it's actually in effect, how does that work since most video and picture messages would be over 300kb... Thanks.

Good question. I think this is for people without any messaging package.

From my knowledge you can't send an mms that is over 300kb it just says file size too large, or if its a pic, it shrinks it to under 300k. I really think they should raise the size though 300k is a little low these days!

My pics don't get shrunk. They just won't go through 😕
Oh, and I agree on 300Kb not being reasonable these days...
