Two Beefs with Customer care. ( I know it's not all of you)

1. Since when can you not put my dealer code on a feature when I call you to add it? If I could add it, I wouldn't be calling you to begin with. Did you sell it, or even talk to the customer? No. I did. And since (as expressed in another thread) POSII is totally worthless, there are a LOT of times where I simply CAN NOT add it. I'm not an idiot, I know how to use my billing system, and I KNOW that you can put my dealer code on a feature. Now I have to waste my time, and call back to get someone who isn't a freakin thief.

2. Why don't you call before you just send someone to my store, or any store for that matter? This is not a COR store. This has never been a COR store, nor is it ever likely to be. But somehow, you manage to send at least...

I'd like to second that! And my other favorite is when the customer wants me to call CC, like that will help anything at all..."Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Customer...CC said that you are telling the truth, so I'm going to magically make my system able to accept this piece of inventory, and then I will pay the retail cost of the phone that you took out of my store..."

Obviously I'm on the other side of the fence, but I had AT&T for awhile, Back then it was Cingular, but I found they had the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Of course VZWireless is not perfect but the Reps in the Cingular store, were nice, and helpful but I spoke to multiple reps over the course of our six month relationship that would transfer me, cut me off, or were just exteremely rude. I feel for you guys.

In response to point 1: I am BEUC, not CC, so it may be different, but I know that if I put your dealer code in it is my head. I have an assigned house code, and I have to use it, period, the end. Point 2, I fully agree, just don't tell customers to call in to get activation fee credits that have not been previously agreed upon, such as through a fan.
