Release Dates For Blackberry Curve 8310 & Pearl 2
I was wondering if there is any news on release dates for the new curve and the new pearl? Also, i heard that the new curve will be available in red 😁 which i would love.... Any info would be greatly appreciative 🙂 thanks

This is great news but we are going to see how long it takes ATT to turn it on. What do you think the hold up is? Maybe its the spectrum being used by TDMA customers? Not sure but ATT has been dragging its feet. The still only have LA covered in spots so we will see.

They have plenty of spectrum so that is not in issue it is just that they want to put HSDPA on the networks first before they put the HSUPA on the network. They are just going to be rolling out, HSUPA, in different areas that they see fit. It is best if they put it together than have it separately. The combination of HSUPA/HSDPA is a deadly one. Great Uplink and great Downlink. They just need some software and minimal infrastructure upgrades. If they want to they can start to roll it out in what we call “soft launches†and I think they are starting in this 4th quarter and then expanding it into next year.
