The Pearl was designed as more of a consumer device, and hence was made as small as possible, given a camera (which previous blackberries tended not to have) and music player functionality.

The Curve is a more robust device. Larger, but full keyboard. And unlike most other blackberries, it does have a camera... and a better one than the Pearl, no less.

Personally, if price wasn't a prime concern, I'd go with the Curve, though I did find the Pearl reasonably impressive as well.

I like the curve better myself do to the keyboard and the better camera, the pearl takes a while to get used to typing on it because its suretype while the curve has the keyboard, also the curve has spell check ya baby. if money is not an issue curve all the way
