Not Sure What AT&T Will Do....
I had at&t (THE ORIGINAL BLUE GUYS) and we ended up owing them about 600.00, It never got paid, went on credit, blah blah blah....
This was about 6 or so years ago...
Would the new at&t (2007) make us pay that amount still, and a deposit, or just a deposit, or possible nothing?

if it's been handed to an outside collection agency, they may just run a credit check and with a ding on your credit probably just a deposit.

you would have to call cust care b/c that account is more than likely in collections. So if you went into a AT&T store and ran your credit it would ask for that amount to be paid and or for a deposit. Those things don't go away.
