at&t Picking up N95-3?

I was wondering if anyone knows about at&t picking up the N95-3? I spoke to someone at a COR store and to someone working for an authorized dealer. Both made mention to reading something about it in an email and going as far as to say that at&t was picking it up but they didn't know when. Anyone?

Buy it unlocked.

There is a great thread on Howard regarding those who are buying it for $649.

Well what about services like at&t Video and Video Share? I mean I know I'll still have access to MediaNet so I'm not worried about data. Will the unlocked version support The Video Share calling? It's services like that I may not want to miss out on or that I'm actually interested in. That is my primary concern with buying the unlocked phone. at&t Video really isn't that important but I would like Video Share.

I don't know. I do know you can send Videos. Not sure what video share is but I am of the opposite opinion. I don't want the Carrier messing with the phone. I don't send videos and picks to other phones. But do send them to email addresses.

Video share allows one user to view an actual live streaming video including audio of the person on the other end... it is not widely used at all but for some people it is a really cool feature.

I would probably only buy this phone branded for the one year warranty alone. Trying to get a phone fixed by the manufacturer under their warranty is typically painstakingly slow compared to the 48 hour turnaround from your carrier. And luckily, at&t hasn't "messed" around with their symbian phones in the past.

Yeah I can understand the whole "can you see me now" attraction. If thats the feature I think that is indeed a good network feature to have.

You are right about the 3 week warranty fix,...

Every n95 that i have seen is quad band gsm but they do not have the same wcdma (3g) frequencies. If you bought it to use here in the states you could only use your phone on edge. thats a lot of money to buy a phone and not have 3g high speed.
