Moving into A new Era

I currently work for a autorized agent, and have heard some interesting things on what Cingular has up their sleeves for the upcoming months. I'm not going to give all the details out, but rumor has it to expect PTT...Nationwide M2M...and the merger with AWS with in the next 4 months. Of course all this is hearsay so far......but if its all true, Cingular will be Spanking the rest of the cellular world. I know that Verizon and Sprint already have PTT and nationwide M2M, but with the customer base of AWS at Cingular's use....and the added spectrum, I forsee Cingular hitting everyone with lowered pricing and cheaper pricing on high end phones as well as the above mentioned services/ features. It has come to the point that most markets are saturated, and the mobile companies are going to have to "whore" themselves to stay competitive. Cingular is a fighter, and is looking to take the whole block for themselves.

Pfh. AWS at Cingular's use. I think you got that backwards. Cingular will be called AT&T.

I couldn't agree more, and with AWS rolling out PTT sometime in the future and having new NW times within the near future also they should remain strong.

Keep dreaming At&t is a big part of my business and from what I have heard an seen with several employess walking on egg shells at&t is on the way out. Things will be great if Cingular does finally merge with At&t and form a poweful network.. At&t network is terrible especially in the Metro NY area Tdma usto be strong but now its becoming less reliable the their gsm network. Lets go Cingular!!!!
