I started working for an AT&T indirect dealer this week, and I'm being offered a generous employee plan. I couldn't care less about smart phones...I have been using a RAZR previously on a CDMA carrier, and having no problems whatsoever. Any recommendations from you AT&T veterans as to what phone(s) I should be looking at for consideration? I'm leaning towards the Motorola V9 (RAZR2), but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!

v9 is sweet but crap battery life. If you sell the sony w580i I would pick it up.

honestly get a good phone for yourself but also get one that if you sold would make you money cause people are gonna wanna know what you use personally and that will sway them to buy that phone. when the v3xx came out we sold like 5 a week, then i personally got the chrome and platinum when it was released and ever since then i sell about 20 a week of that phone.

the SER w580i is a good choice. Great features, nice price.

First he can get the Sony from his indirect and you don't want to have a phone you cant sell. what are you going to tell a customer this is a great phone o you want it ok head on over to radio shack to get it" ?

Second I agree with bigmike

w580i is available in the agent channels as of tomorrow, we took preorders although the Radio Shack down the road has it and 15/16 have yet to go down there. The one that couldn't wait(phone lost and no loaners) got it online.

Congrats on your job and thats awesome they are giving you a plan. I am a big fan of Sony Ericssons and am waiting for the k850i release for AT&T. Until then I purchased the moto v9 and have been pretty happy with it. I'm not in a 3g market, so my battery life is better, but there isnt much in the phone. Its pretty similiar to the v3xx. If you want a nice looking phone, the v9 is good. The sony 580i is nice, but I cannot wait for the k850i. Good Luck!
